Bad hair day!

One of the challenges set by our children was to colour my hair blue for a day and in return they’d give £10 to our Kili fund.  How difficult could it be!  Well, the blue colouring was in fact blue gel and I had to use a full tube of the stuff!!!  After spending 15 minutes making sure it was applied to my children’s satisfaction I then had to go out in public.  So what better than going to a large town (Kendal) and walking around so that everyone could see me.  It’s funny how people in shops reacted when I was talking to them – they looked me direct in the eyes and tried hard not to look at my blue hair!  No recognition of looking stupid or even asking why it was blue.

Anyway I got through the day and earned our Kili fund £10.

It’s not on the same level but Hilary completed her challenge of eating a tin of beans in 3 minutes!  Let’s hope she never reads this blog ;-)
