Charity knows no bounds…
Another of our challenges set by the kids was for me to wear a bra for a day and Hilary with wear knickers on the outside of her trousers for a day. This would earn us £40 for our Kili charity fund. In preparation for the challenge we’d gone to Asda were Laura and Katie had chosen a leopard skin matching bra and knickers.
The day selected for our challenge was Wednesday, the day we would be walking for 11 miles around the Fairfield Horseshoe. Oh what joys!!! We met a number of other people on the walk and had to explain to them that we were wearing the ‘items’ as a charity fundraiser for Sparks. Yes we got some very funny looks from people and I’m not sure everyone believed us!
I can safely report that Hilary and I successfully met the challenge and earned the £40.
So far the family challenge has generated £60 from me having blue hair for a day, Hilary eating a full tin of beans and the bra/knickers challenge. Only another 4 challenges to go and we get the full £100.
