Saying thank you
When agreeing to take on a challenge like climbing Mount Kilimanjaro you also commit to raising the required money. The task for Hilary and I was to raise £7,500 which is daunting given that the recession had taken hold of everyone at the time we made our decision.
We knew that our family and close friends would chip in but that wouldn’t really make a dent to the overall total needed. So we made a few enquiries with local businesses and asked folks on various social media platforms if they’d help.
The generous response we received was unbelievable and far exceeded our expectations.
So many children are going to benefit from the research that Sparks fund. Your donations are going to help reduce the suffering of children and families.
When we’ve finished the trek we’ll do our best to list the name of everyone who hav helped the many children who benefit from the work that Sparks do. In the meantime special mention to Taurus Clearer Communication, Rokk Media, Hotel Connexions, Hartnells Solicitors, St Loyes and Exeter Orthodontic Practice – thanks guys.
To every single person who has donated we’d like to say a massive thank you.
